Sept. 11th will be long range and Sept. 12th will be a combination Starlight Run and Gun as a low light shoot for a potential low light event.

Atlas Bi-pod / Tie Breaker Target - Patrol and Snipers

Fired on Day 1.  Closest to the center wins and individual bipod.  A Tie Breaker Target will also be engaged.

This is a memorial shoot for our personal friend and long time supporter of the comp, Lt. Mike Howe of the Balt. Co. Police. Shooters will fire at various distances from operational shooting positions.  The use of artificial support such as tripods will not be allowed.  Snipers 300-500  and Patrol 100-300.

This event will be for snipers  at the Frontier Range. There will be 5 steel targets.  Five shots will be fired at each target with a 1 minute time limit per target.  The number of impacts, possible of 25, will be fired at a paper target at the conclusion of the steel engagements for score.

We will be using multiple ranges for pistol and rifle engagements.  This is for all the Patrol Rifle Shooters only on Day 2.  Be careful on your pistol loud. Several shooters ran dangerously low in 2021.

This is a memorial event for our friend and fellow competitor SFC Ed Homeyer, Green Beret, 10th Special Forces Group.  Peacemaker offers an unknown distance steel range. You will be in a squad of 4 to navigate the 10 position course. The positions consist of support in the form of walls, trees, pipes, tires etc.  Maximum distance for Snipers will be +/- 550 and 300 for Patrol Rifles. Lowest aggregate  of shots taken during the entire course serve as your score with time serving as a tie breaker.

This is a memorial shoot for our friend P.O. Jason Schneider of the Baltimore Co. Police. Shooters will fire at various distances from operational shooting positions while moving rapidly between multiple positions on 6 ranges.  There will be pistol shooting involved with this event.  Anticipate approximately 8 pistol targets.  Wear enough ammo for your pistol ability.  Many shooters haven't even required a reload while some run out of pistol ammo.

I am working with long time friend of the competition, Jeremy Gray, on sponsoring a potential night shoot.  Peacemaker has given us the green light. 

Recommended Round Count

Estimate only, your accuracy will determine actual round count.

Optional Open Range - We are working with Peacemaker to offer two days of train up access prior to the October event. You participation level is up to you.


Minimum Recommendations 150 rounds of rifle and 100 rounds of pistol

Caution - There has been instances where a target has given a shooter trouble.  Round counts can dramatically increase with multiple misses.
