We will hold another low light mini comp on Sept. 24th. This will be a separate sponsored event. We are working with Carey Brower with Thomas F. Gowen & Sons on details.
Fired on Day 1. Closest to the center wins and individual bipod. A Tie Breaker Target will also be engaged.
This event will be for snipers at the Frontier Range. Each sniper team will have a cardboard IPSC target between 350-550 yards to shoot at with their based on steel target impacts. The sniper team will move between 5 various obstacles and fire 5 shots at designated long range steel targets from each obstacle. The engagement will be timed.
We will be using multiple ranges for pistol and rifle engagements. Shooters should prepare for positional shooting positions and moving rapidly between firing positions.
This is a memorial shoot for our personal friend and long time supporter of the comp, Lt. Mike Howe of the Balt. Co. Police. Shooters will fire at various distances at rifle and pistol steel targets while running a 2 mile +/- loop.
This is a memorial event for our friend and fellow competitor SFC Ed Homeyer, Green Beret, 10th Special Forces Group. Peacemaker offers an unknown distance steel range. You will be in a squad of 4 or 6 to navigate the 10 position course. The positions consist of support in the form of walls, trees, pipes, tires etc. Maximum distance for Snipers will be +/- 550 and 300 for Patrol Rifles. Lowest aggregate of shots taken during the entire course serve as your score with time serving as a tie breaker.
This will be a side match with a separate award fired on Day 3. You are welcome to shoot the event before or after your flight time for Sniper Golf. It will be available for both Patrol and Sniper participants. You should plan on having an M4 type rifle and pistol and plenty of ammo. These are amazing interactive target systems and of high training value.
This is a memorial shoot for our friend P.O. Jason Schneider of the Baltimore Co. Police. Shooters will fire at various distances from operational shooting positions while moving rapidly between multiple positions on 6 ranges. There will be pistol shooting involved with this event. Anticipate approximately 8 pistol targets. Wear enough ammo for your pistol ability. Many shooters haven't even required a reload while some run out of pistol ammo.
Optional Open Range - See above for dates. Round count is up to each competitor.
Minimum Recommendations 250 rounds of rifle and 150 rounds of pistol
Caution - There has been instances where a target has given a shooter trouble. Round counts can dramatically increase with multiple misses.
